Implantology
Dental implants are artificial titanium roots that we place in the upper and lower jaw after the loss of the natural teeth.
The dental implant is a pure titanium screw that is of a material very biocompatible with the human body and which has been subjected to a special treatment on its surface to guarantee the osseointegration to the bone. It is a high-precision piece, designed to resist very considerable forces such as those realised by the jaws in the chewing process.
For diagnoses in implants, we use digital 3D radiography (the latest generation CBCT Volume Tomography).
